• Students reviewed and approved upon Ms. Abernethy's proposals to the community for the 2017-2018 school year.
• Field Trip (Alvin Ailey, NASA, MOAD (Museum of the African Diaspora, Black College Fair)
• I'm Black and I'm Proud Activity for our first meeting 9/8/17
• BSU Proposal to Admin for a City Wide BSU Middle School Dance
• BSU Denman Assembly Outline
• We will try to have food at the meetings every first Friday and snacks in between
• Students Learned about the following 
• The Black National Anthem
• The BET Show Tales Episode 1 about Police Violence
• Songs from Slavery on You Tube
